The worlds of gaming, trading & cryptocurrency have collided in a big way in 2021, and gamers are currently gripped with excitement at the possibilities that can be brought from the interplay between these formats. We are seeing huge potential with gaming, P2E and blockchain gaming, notwithstanding that people are experiencing cutting-edge gameplay & also profiting handsomely at the same time!

One of the latest platforms that has come to the fore is Dreams Quest. So, What is the Story of Games Quest?
In the Beginning, the Guardians of the Realms lived peacefully & harmoniously. Over time, growing conflict between realms led to a Great War, which in turn caused a cataclysmic event which changed the landscape into two seemingly impassable realms. The time between sleep & wakefulness is the only way to traverse these realms.
The story centres around the premise that our lives are lived out in part through the “dreamverse”; an exciting & formidable environment in which our characters battle as a “Dream Hero”. The adventure begins within one of two realms chosen by the player: Celestial or Infernal. Within each realm there are 3 lands, creating a huge field of possibilities & gameplay amongst the 6 lands on offer. Each will provide their own challenges, benefits, gameplay, environments & weaponry. Within these worlds, they will encounter a multitude of characters, all of whom will be there to support, test or battle your character as the gameplayer aims to advance through their chosen realm.
The gameplay on offer is vast; there will be single & multiplayer quests, puzzles & tests to overcome, as well as rare & valuable items to discover & claim for your own. The ability to collaborate with others will provide huge opportunities for outcomes in the multiverse. Will you & your ‘cronies’ use your collective power & strength to fight evil, or will you use it to gain strength, power & wealth for yourselves… only you can decide!
One of the benefits of blockchain gaming is to be able to immutably record how historic gameplay has affected, updated, advanced, and modified your gaming character, enabling them to take those characteristics forward into the next game. This could be weapons & magic achieved, injuries incurred and strength that has been attained. This will be written for all eternity in the “Ethereal Scribes” that form the cornerstone of the game’s ability to continue providing these ever-changing gaming options and to project them forward into your future gaming adventures.
Adventures & Quests
There will be additional tasks & quests provided for gameplayers at random daily, weekly & monthly intervals, and these may also be related to particular events & times of the year (think Christmas-themed challenges!). There will also be opportunities to earn new & common NFTs to supplement your collection with.
Play to Earn
The P2E aspect of the gaming will centre around the players ability to sell or auction items that they find, swap & exchange NFTs with other players, and sell their own NFTs. The beauty of this is that, as before described, your NFTs can be updated, upgraded & empowered with new skills, abilities and traits that will make your NFTs more valuable in the gaming marketplace. Even more incentive to overcome those challenges, solve those puzzles & conquer your foes!
Project Roadmap
The current project status is that the initial NFT offering & token sales have commenced, and new users wait eagerly for the first tranche of gaming card packs to be launched around the end of 2021. Thereafter testnet & beta access areplanned for mid-2022, with the full release of Season 1 “The First Battle” expected for the second half of 2022.
And if that wasn’t enough to get gaming fans chomping at the bit, the amazing team at Dreams Quest have already begun work on the concept for Season 2, entitled “Rise of the Gnomes”, slated for a 2023 release!
